Custom signage for Apartment Shade Sails — designed, fabricated, and installed in-house by Flite Signs of Houston.
Tensioned shade sails over the grill and dining terrace at an apartment community. Three royal blue sails are anchored at staggered heights to black steel posts, overlapping so their combined shadow covers the run of outdoor kitchen and seating below.
The staggered geometry is deliberate: setting the sails at different heights and angles lets air move between them and puts shade where the sun actually lands during the hours the terrace gets used, rather than directly overhead.
