An entrance monument for the Sierra Vista community in Houston. The sign is a long, low masonry wall in coursed stone with the community name in individual aluminium letters spanning its face, set into a planted bed at the entrance.
Horizontal proportion is the point at a community entrance: the sign is read side-on from a car turning in, so length and letter spacing matter more than height. Fabricated, welded and installed May 2026.
