Citizens State Bank Porter

Flat cut-out lettering for Citizens State Bank in Porter. The monogram is cut from aluminium in a brushed finish, with the wave device and star row rendered as separate pieces, and the full bank name set beneath in individual letters.

Cut-out letters carry no illumination of their own, so the finish does the work — against a patterned wall the brushed aluminium picks up whatever light is on the elevation and separates from the background by depth rather than brightness. Fabricated, welded and installed December 2024.
