A projecting blade sign for The Cottage Grocery in Houston. The panel carries the shop name in a mixed serif and script setting, hung from a scrolled wrought-iron bracket fixed to the building corner.
Blade signs solve a specific problem: a flat sign on the facade is invisible to anyone walking along it. Hanging the panel perpendicular puts the name in the pedestrian sightline from both directions. Flat cut-out letters in aluminium and acrylic, completed August 2025.
